What and How

What does she look like?

How does she seem today?

"What" is used to describe qualities or characteristics that are unchanging, while "How" is often used for things that are subject to change.

In other words, the first sentence is inquiring about the general appearance or physical features of a person. On the other hand, the second sentence is asking about the specific condition of a person on a particular day.
